6-Month Limited Warranty Policy for Watches only
We are confident in the quality and craftsmanship of our timepieces and offer a 6-month limited warranty to ensure your satisfaction. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.
Section 1. Warranty Coverage
This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the original date of purchase. During this period, if your watch experiences any issues covered by this warranty, we will repair or replace the defective watch or part(s) at no additional charge.
Section 2. What is Covered
- Movement: Defects in the watch movement.
- Hands: Malfunctions of the watch hands.
- Dial: Issues with the watch dial, including defects in workmanship.
Section 3. What is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, discolouration, or damage to the watch case, strap, bracelet, and crystal due to normal wear.
- Water Damage: Damage caused by water, unless the watch is specifically marked as water-resistant and the damage occurs within the designated depth limits.
- Accidental Damage: Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or neglect, including but not limited to impacts, crushing, or unauthorised modifications.
- Unauthorised Repairs: Any damage resulting from repairs or alterations made by any party other than a WatchXchange technician.
Section 4. Warranty Claim Process
To make a warranty claim:
1. Proof of Purchase: Provide the original receipt or proof of purchase.
2. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team at contact@watchxchange.co.uk to initiate the claim process. You will receive instructions on how to send the watch to us for inspection.
3. Shipping: Ship the watch to the address provided by our customer service team. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the watch to our service centre. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
4. Inspection: Our technicians will inspect the watch to determine if the issue is covered by this warranty. If the defect is covered, we will repair or replace the watch at our discretion.
5. Return Shipping: We will cover the cost of return shipping if the defect is covered by this warranty. If the issue is not covered, you will be responsible for any repair costs and return shipping.
Section 5. Limitations of Warranty
- This warranty is valid only for watches purchased from our website (www.watchxchange.co.uk).
- The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or country to country.
Section 6. Exclusions and Limitations
- WatchXchange is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the watch, including but not limited to loss of time, inconvenience, or any other indirect or consequential loss.
